The PAL-V Liberty is the world's first flying car that you can buy, starting at $399,000 US to $599,000 US.  With solid Dutch engineering, elegant Italian design, and high-end materials and systems, the creators of the PAL-V have partnered with many top car and air plane companies from around the world. Having gone under 20 years of progression, the first PAL-V keys will be handed out to costumers in 2019. It is a vehicle designed for those who value their time, freeing costumers of airport hassles, bus and train schedules, and more. Designed as compact as possible, it can park literally anywhere any regular car could and flies smoother in the air then any plane, 80% less affected by turbulence because of its tiny size. Engineered to beat the weather while enjoying the sports car experience, the PAL-V Liberty gives consumers the best of both worlds, making for an easier life.

PAL-V FLIGHT ACADEMY

The PAL-V Flydrive academy is a course to prepare you for flying your new car. As mentioned previously in the article in The Cons section, you do need to take this course to legally be able to fly the PAL-V labelled as a pilot. In this course you learn from a highly experienced and skilled coach, who will according to the page (see in References) will later become your partner that takes you on adventures. The course is adaptable and will bend to your needs and talents, giving you the ability to pick when and where to take the lessons. There are three steps you must follow to receive your licence. First you must go through at least one week of learning the basic theory about aerodynamics at a type of theory boot camp. Next, you move right on to flight training where you will learn how to fly a gyroplane, exactly like flying the PAL-V Liberty. Finally, once your PAL-V is delivered you will continue your flight training on the PAL-V for as long as you need or want to. All this training is to prepare you for the adventures you will be taking in your new car.

FINAL REVIEW

Being completely honest, I think the PAL-V is a really cool, unique creation. It is the world's first flying car you can actually purchase and seems very 2019 esque. However, how practical is it really? Not only is it's starting price extremely high for a car, but it will also cost you way more money than it's worth after purchase. I think it would be cool to own this car as it doubles as your own helicopter in a way, but all the cons previously talked about still apply to this vehicle and they totally outshine the pros. I mean really, how realistic is it that when you're stuck in a traffic jam on the roads, you'll just be able to lift off the ground and fly over it? I don't think so. Although I may not be eager to purchase the PAL-V Liberty, I'm sure there are a bunch of money bags around the world just waiting for it's release.
